The Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program, offered by PG&E, is a local incentive that provides no-cost upgrades to help improve the comfort, health, and safety of your home. At Hassler Heating & Air, we're committed to helping our East Bay neighbors access these valuable resources.
Through the ESA program, eligible renters and homeowners may receive:
- Upgrades or repairs to heat pump water heaters
- Furnace upgrades or repairs
- Energy-efficient lighting
- Refrigerator replacements
- Other appliance upgrades and home repairs
Applying for ESA
You must be a PG&E customer and live in a house, mobile home, or apartment over 5 years old to qualify for the Energy Savings Assistance Program. You must also meet PG&E’s income guidelines. Homeowners and renters can apply for ESA through their online application in just a few minutes.
Once your application has been reviewed, someone will contact you to schedule a home energy assessment where a specialist will determine what improvements need to be made.
Choose Hassler for Your Home Efficiency Needs
While the ESA program offers valuable no-cost upgrades, it's just one aspect of home performance. At Hassler, we specialize in comprehensive energy solutions, including:

- And more
The program is only around for a short time and will expire on May 31, 2015. For more information, please visit Energy Upgrade California.
